Her ability to connect with audiences beyond her music is undeniably a part of her charm. Recently, during Las Vegas residency show, the “rolling in the deep” singer passed a bold and cheeky remark about her drinking capacity,
She declared, “I can drink 25 bottles of wine in one night and I’ll be fine” extending “I will have a normal conversation with you” 
Depicting her playful and humorous nature, Adele’s claim was clearly an exaggeration meant to entertain people. She contrasted her “supposed” wine tolerance with her low capacity of consuming liquor and said,
“Three liquor drinks, and I am 25 sheets to the wind. I am heading to another planet.”
She joked about becoming “vicious” after just 3 tequila shots and experiencing hangover anxiety for several days. She said,
“I better find something else to do because if I don’t make any plans then I’m just going to become a drunk. Tequila makes me aggressive. I’m ready to throw punches when I have tequila. It makes me f___ vicious.”
She continued, “I have hangover anxiety for about five days after. I steer very clearly away from tequila.”
Emphasizing her British roots and love for drinking, she added in a humorous tone,
“I just can’t handle it, which is crazy because again I’m a Brit and I can drink anyone under the table.”
Adele has a history of sharing lighthearted anecdotes about her drinking habits. She even joked about the prospect of becoming a “day drinker”, after her residency ends, if she doesn’t find any other activities to kill the time.
She said, “I don’t drink as much as I’d like to, but in two weeks I’m retiring, I’m going to become a day drinker”
This is not the first time Adele has given candid remarks about her relationship with alcohol. In an older interview with Vogue, she said, “I was always very fascinated by alcohol. It’s what kept my dad from me. So I always wanted to know what was so great about it”
